The Sniffen Files: The Georgia-Alabama disappearance and death of Gerard J. Sniffen, III

A few weeks before disappearing, in the halls of a Georgia divorce court, my son whispered, "Mom! I don't want to do this." I said, "Don't worry just tell the truth everything will be okay." When he disappeared I was suspicious. Forensics of a body found didn't match his characteristics. Records, police reports, identification process, and witness reports were mishandled and raise questions. I've been intimidated while seeking the truth. My lawyer suggested my son is alive and in danger.

About Me

Michelle
I was married for 23 years to an executive with Norfolk Southern Railroad. An artist and mother, I found myself ordered out of my home in 1998 and within three months my son was reported missing in Georgia, dead in Alabama and was buried in Virginia. During the same period I was jailed in three Georgia jails and even ordered to a state hospital during the period of time the body was supposedly being stored in Georgia; I was unable to identify his body. My son had incriminating evidence that his father had a mistress and had been dishonest with law enforcement authorities in having me ordered out of our home. His testimony in divorce court could have been disastrous. I have since been threatened and stalked, and was told by two attorneys that I will never get the truth regarding my son's disappearance and death. Those words I refuse to accept. This is America, not Russia. Any information which might lead to the truth is greatly appreciated.
